Great place! My wife and I have visited 3 times and will book a 4th for later this year. We’ve have traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean and this is BY FAR our favorite! People are terrific and they treat us like family! Food is great, beach is fun and they’ve recovered nicely from recent hurricanes. If you want a place to have a terrific, relaxing and safe vacation, this is the place.
The 7 of us stayed as a family and we all agreed this has been one of our favorites. The people were all exceptionally friendly. The staff was always willing to help with anything we needed and the food was great. Myself, my wife, and brother-in-law all went diving on Letts Dive right next to the resort and it may have been the highlight of the trip. They were super accommodating and everything was effortless to get things booked. We dove a ship wreck and a coral reef ledge. We all agreed it was an amazing experience!
We had our family vacation there and it was just perfect. The rooms are a great size and you’re not in them a lot because there’s so much to do outside. The outside water activities are all included which makes it even better. The all-inclusive made life easy and the food is absolutely amazing. The people there are so sweet and helpful for anything you need. It is a very relaxing environment and we would absolutely go back again.
We had an amazing time. The beach is beautiful and well kept. The one morning I came out and they were raking the beach. They really care how the place looks. The staff was wonderful. The Sunday funday cruise to buck island and water island was well worth the money. Shout out to the crew James, Deanna and Toni. They made it so much fun. They treat you like they have known you for years. Like your friends. I would definitely go all inclusive again. You don’t want to worry about money for food and the awesome drinks they make you. If you walk away from the restaurant hungry it’s your fault. I can not say enough good about this place. All different age groups from 20s and up. Rooms are very nice maybe not a Hilton or ritz but your only in the room to sleep and shower.
It’s not often that you go away and have the space to be yourself , but also feel like you are with dear friend. Bolongo is low key, with an attentive staff, each meal is prepared individually so it’s a little slow, but worth the wait with a nice Caribbean drink in hand. Iggies provides food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu stays the same, with occasional specials. We tried almost everything on the menu and each dish was delish....ous. I especially loved the fish tacos! The highlights for me, afun staff, uncrowded beach and access to water toys. The hobie cat sail was just the best! The hotel can hook you up with whatever activity you want to do! Helicopter ride, snorkel, dive, sail, Jeep explore, tour of the Island, bowling, and more. Their store prices are not inflated compared to going to other vendors.
This isn’t a huge, glitzy, resort but it has many advantages from the time you get there greeted with a rum punch and Cruzan rum and Coke on your room table just waiting for you to open your balcony door and take in the beautiful view, to the excellent food including steak and lobster, and the staff who know your name and room number by the second day. It was my friend’s first time to St. Thomas and I am so glad we chose this resort to have such a memorable experience. We went out on a sunset cruise included with our stay and then a Sunday Funday to swim with the turtles and snorkel from a catamaran conveniently docked right at the resort to avoid the need for taxi rides. The crew was a blast and being out on the turquoise waters with a little Caribbean music
The food and drinks were spectacular. There wasn’t a single item on the food menu that we didn’t love. We went all-inclusive so it was nice not to have to worry about prices. They let you take a bottle of wine to your room every night if you choose!
We had an absolutely wonderful time at bolongo bay. The all inclusive package was great I’ve never had such great food with an all inclusive. The activities were a lot of fun and their live music acts were great. We upgraded to the honeymoon package which included a bottle of champagne and Swimming with the turtles and the sunset cruise which were amazing.
While we visited, we got the chance to sample the amazing food and drinks at Bolongo Bay Beach Resort. Man, were those drinks great! Todd had THE.BEST.BURGER he's ever eaten, the Iggie's Special. If you're not a drinker or a foodie, you could benefit from the European Plan (regular room rate, no food or drinks included). BUT if you're ready for a no worries, it's all included vacation, the All-Inclusive package is an amazing value! (Yes, order the lobster EVERY NIGHT!)
We live to create amazing one-of-a-kind memories and experiences for our event guests. Destination beach weddings. Vow Renewals. Honeymoons and Anniversaries. Celebrations of all kinds belong at Bolongo Bay. Here are some of our recent reviews.
“I am not articulate enough to properly describe what an amazing experience we had getting married at Bolongo Bay. It was even better than our wildest expectations. Lorie the wedding planner went above and beyond for us. From conference calls with us during the planning phase, to the day of the wedding, she was there for us. Her recommendations for the DJ, photographer, etc were all on point. The rest of the resort staff were very friendly and provided the kind of experience for our friends and family that will last a lifetime. The resort itself was exactly what we were looking for. A beautiful authentic resort in it’s own bay with astonishing views. The food/drinks were fantastic. Plenty of options on their menu if you don’t want to ever leave the resort for food. I DEFINITELY recommend going all inclusive. I’m sure I’m leaving a lot out, but suffice it to say, I STRONGLY recommend Bolongo Bay if you’re looking to get married in VI or just looking for a beautiful vacation.”

Had a fantastic time with the staff at Bolongo for my husband and I’s wedding!! We loved the clean beaches, friendly staff, exceptional food, and overall island vibes! Highly recommend one of the beachfront rooms–you can’t beat walking straight to the beach from your room!

“From the date I booked our honeymoon the staff at Bolongo bay were amazin! Our flight was delayed by 16 hrs I called Bolongo and they adjusted our accommodations. Our 7 day vacation was Awesome! The resort is on the smaller side which makes it have a personal feel. EVERY SINGLE STAFF called my husband and I by name. There are so many things to do from booze snorkeling (which I highly recommend) to snorkeling with the sea turtles, laying on the beach (bring water shoes it is rocky in the water), eating at Izzys (try the conch fritters you will not be disappointed). The swim up bar is fantastic. The bartenders are very friendly and make delicious drinks. The best chimichurri steak I have ever had was in the Bolongo Bay restaurant. The Woman in the gift shop set us up on an amazing zip line tour and excursion on the island where we got to see parts of the Island that most tourists don’t know exist and learned about the local plants and wildlife. The staff on the resort helped with everything we needed any time of the day or night. My husband and I cannot wait to bring our girls to Bolongo. I would totally live there given the option. So, book the trip. Go. Enjoy doing everything, or nothing. It is so worth it. Go for the all inclusive!”

Sunday Funday is an understatement! Awesome crew! Fun, outgoing and kind. Snorkeling was great! Honeymoon Beach was a blast! Bonus....... Whale watching, that's right whales! Unbelievable!
Absolutely so much fun. Deanna was our snorkel guide and she was great. We saw turtles, an octopus, and a barracuda! But the best was seeing two humpback whales on our way to Water Island! Lunch at Water Island was very good. Fun to swim in to shore from the boat(and back). And of course, they were very generous with champagne and rum punch. Great trip!
We chose the snorkeling trip to St John because of the lovely long sail to St John and back. The snorkeling was very good with lots of different fish, turtles and stingrays. The lunch was delicious, and the crew were all great. We love the Heavenly Days. There is a large covered area which is open aired where it’s possible to shelter from too much sun or the occasional rain shower.
We had an incredible trip yesterday to Buck Island with a great crew on heavenly days catamaran. We got to snorkel with several green sea turtles and saw small rays and the beautiful Cove at Buck Island which is a protected nature sanctuary. The water was crystal clear with a nice variety of fish and corals opening up to Sandy areas with grasses that the turtles love. A great three hour sailing trip on a big catamaran in paradise. The fun young crew made the trip special too.
Heavenly Days is a well maintained boat with an excellent staff of three addressing the clients. When we struggled to find turtles at first, Toni took the guided tour to the reef and described much of the coral and fish. This was beyond any snorkel tour I've encountered where you typically are sent self guided. We really appreciated the guided tour. We did get back to the turtles and were able to watch them underwater and at the surface. There was plenty of time to wander around and look on your own too. The cove got really crowded by the end of our tour, so I was happy that we were first to arrive and had it to ourselves for an hour before multiple tours arrived. Apparently a popular site. Highly recommend for this and the sunset cruise that goes over to Charlotte Amalie Harbor.
We had a fantastic time aboard the Heavenly Days Catamaran on our Swim with the Sea turtles excursion while staying at the Bologna Bay resort. The crew (Captain James, Deanna & Toni) went above and beyond and really showed us a great time. The trip lasted just over 3 hours and included a snorkel tour of Turtle cove. We were up close and personal with the turtles Lucky (only has 3 flippers) Squirt and Barnacle Betty) Deanna also gave us a snorkel tour of the reef and called out many interesting facts along the way. Following the snorkeling we had plenty of time to enjoy the open bar as we set sail for the resort. Toni made sure my wife was never low on Mic Ultras! 10/10 would do this again. Big thanks to the crew for offering this wonderful experience.
