At Bolongo Bay Beach Resort, we are deeply committed to continue our legacy of being a standard bearer in customer care and a preferred travel destination. Recognizing the new standards of proper social distancing, cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting practices, we’ve implemented protocols to ensure the highest measures of safety across all areas of the resort.
Along with providing information to the online travel portal, travelers are required to submit a negative Covid-19 test result dated within 5 days of arrival.
An email will be sent to you prior to arrival notifying you that your test results have been received by the U.S. Virgin Islands. Covid-19 test results must be submitted via the portal and not via email.

To ensure the safety of our guests and staff, we’ve implemented a number of new policies.
Enhanced Cleaning & Sanitization Procedures
Frequent cleaning of all high touch areas
Hand washing and sanitizing stations available throughout property
Heightened cleaning and ionization of rooms and laundry (with limited staff entry)
Staff and Guest Health
All staff are required to wear a facial covering or face mask
All Guests are strongly encouraged to adhere to FAA travel and USVI territory guidelines while visiting and will be required to wear face covering in certain places while on property
Physical & social distancing measures implemented; minimum of 6-foot distancing for public areas as well as designated group gathering areas around property

We’re always determined to create a safe and considerate resort experience for our guests. As we adhere to good, common-sense approaches to staying healthy and respecting others, a safe environment can be achieved comfortably – and we can have fun doing it.
Easy, Pre-Check in
To shorten your time spent at our front desk upon arrival, upcoming guests are encouraged to call our toll-free number at 1-800-524-4746 prior to arrival to provide traveler information required for check-in.
Those who provide all information and sign our e-waiver (sent to you via email) will be fast-tracked at check-in with pre-approved Welcome Arrival Packet containing keys, welcome letter, and any extra guest amenities you may have purchased.
Rooms and Housekeeping
Rooms are both ionized and sanitized prior to each new guest arrival, with rooms remaining unoccupied for 24 hours if possible.
Air conditioning is not central air. Each room has an individual mini-split A/C unit with Ionizer filters which is continuously cleaning the air.
For guest peace of mind, full housekeeping service within your room is provided every other day, or sooner at a guests specific request. Housekeepers are always required to wear facial coverings.
Our resort tap water is 100% drinkable, perfectly safe, and tastes wonderful. Our resort water is double filtrated and ionized for safe drinking. Potable water is part of our sustainability program here at Bolongo, dramatically reducing the amount of single-use plastic bottles we consume.
Restaurant and Bar
To ensure safe dining, we’ve enhanced practical measures to promote safety and spacing. Luckily, our restaurant is 100% open air with strong trade winds always blowing through. Additional seating will be available for non-dining services on Terrace and Pool deck for maximum relaxation.
Tables are all se 6′ apart, with a maximum 6 guests per table.
Contact tracing done for all outside guests, including temperature and phone numbers.
Max capacity is limited, with reservations strongly encouraged, especially during dinner.
Vacation Tour Desk & Gift Shop
We are here to help you plan all your incredible experiences, from our own Heavenly Days Catamaran to a number of exciting, safe off-property experiences. Our vacation directors are available (ext. 2500 from room) to help you book excursions and island tours, make dinner reservations, and answer any questions about your vacation.
Gift Shop open from 8am-8pm, with facial coverings required while inside.
Cardio Fitness Room
Our cardio fitness room procedure has been modified to accomplish safer social distancing goals.
Fitness room key must be signed out by the front desk, with no more than two or three people traveling together allowed at any given time.
Once the fitness room is vacated, our housekeeping staff cleans the room before the next visitor.
Shower and washroom are available for use for guests already checked out of their room upon request.
Pool & Beach
The pool and beach lounge chair areas have been modified to enhance social distancing.
We’ve limited the amount of people able to enter the pool, though we’re small enough to not worry about that. High-touch surfaces are sanitized. Masks required when leaving pool and beach via high traffic areas.
All free watersports equipment is sanitized. Beach Activities Coordinators have organized several safe activities for kids, families and guests. Masks only required when leaving beach via high-contact areas.
Heavenly Days Catamaran
On Heavenly Days Catamaran, we’ve reduced the max capacity by 50 percent in order to provide extra space on board for people not traveling together.
All areas are thoroughly sanitized before, during, and after each trip. Masks are worn by all crew and required for guests during specific instances such as boarding and during safety speech, to be explained by crew.
