For over 40 years, we have taken great pride in being a positive, helpful and contributing member of our community. The Virgin Islands is one of the most amazing, diverse and unique places on Earth, with some of the nicest and most incredible people.
As a resort, our commitment to our guests, staff and the environment around us go hand-in-hand. We strive to treat our employees fairly, operate in a environmentally friendly way, and always make our guests feel like they belong at Bolongo.
With a focus on understanding the long-term impacts of our actions, from coral reef preservation to reducing plastic use, we support a number of initiatives that promote a better future. Why? Because we want your stay to be part of our islands solution.
Third generation owned and managed, with long-standing employees/families who have been with us for years.
Everyone belongs at Bolongo. From same-sex weddings to employee non-discrimination, our culture is rooted in openness.
Our relationship with employees, and how we treat them, is at the root of everything we do here at Bolongo.
We are committed not just to reducing our environmental impacts, but to being a industry leader in the sustainability. We have a number of sustainability initiatives.
They include: making our own drinking water with a freshwater reverse osmosis plant; treating our own sewage with a treatment plant; solar panels on building rooftops; reusable cups and a ban on single-use plastics, glass bottle crushing, reef-safe sunscreen, and more!
Since we opened, we’ve been a big part of our local community, supporting a number of programs and initiatives, including Adopt a School, Humane Society, local nonprofits, environmental and beach advocacy.
