(St. Thomas) — Bolongo Bay Beach Resort is officially reopening on July 1st.
We’re excited to reopen our doors and welcome guests back. Our main priority has always with the well being of our guests, employees and their families, as well as our community at large. We determined that postponing our opening date was in the best interest of us and our staff members as we want to reopen when we can offer a full range of experiences, amenities and services that makes a vacation at Bolongo Bay so special.
July 1st is our definite date for re-opening.
The Government of the Virgin Islands has done a great job of flattening the curve. Since shutting down tourism to our islands in late-March, the U.S. Virgin Islands has succeeded in preventing community transmission. Through initiatives like contact tracing and closing travel to the territory, we have been able to avoid the serious outbreaks seen in many places across the world.
As we work to reopen our tourism economy, we want to be smart and make sure that we provide safety and enjoyment for our guests and staff.
Thank you,
Bolongo Bay Beach Resort Management.
