U.S. Virgin Islands and Bolongo Bay are open to tourism again!

It is with great excitement that we can share that the U.S. Virgin Islands and Bolongo Bay Beach Resort have reopened our doors to leisure tourism again.

The territory recently began welcoming travelers back to the islands after a month-long lockdown on tourism due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and Bolongo Bay opened on October 1st.

We’ve worked diligently to ensure the well-being and safety of our awesome hotel guests and our incredible staff members, who have worked so hard to help us create a safer resort setting here at Bolongo Bay, without affecting the amazing guest experiences we have at Bolongo.

This year has been challenging for so many, including the U.S. Virgin Islands. We are thankful for the hard work and difficult decisions our local government has made to keep residents and visitors safe and happy. We feel extremely fortunate to be able to welcome our guests safely back to St. Thomas and remain focused on keeping our employees and our customers healthy and informed.

As the state of this health emergency changes from day to day, we encourage everyone with plans to visit the Virgin Islands to stay connected with usviupdate.com for more information on travel-related restrictions. If you have an upcoming trip planned, please note that travelers aged five years and up are required to present a negative Covid-19 test result within five days prior to arrival to the USVI. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us.
